Y-me Breast Cancer Walk
Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there. We decided to brave the elements and participate in the Y-me walk in Chicago on Mother's Day. It was cold and wet, but it was for a good cause. Team "Modern Hygienist" included: Renee, Thais, Julie, Maddie and me.

Sam turns 8
Sam turned 8 on May 1st. He picked out a dragon cake that breathed fire and had a party at Pump it up with about 25 of his closest friends and classmates. He asked for pets for his birthday and picked out 2 hermit crabs, Climber and Slick.

Maddie's First Sewing Project
Maddie had her first sewing project in school. She made this tote bag and she loves it. She now carries it with her everywhere.
A New Baseball Season Has Begun
A new baseball season has begun and Sam had his first game today. He really loves baseball and thoroughly enjoys running the bases. He scored 3 runs today.
