Maddie gets her first contacts

Maddie went to Sam's Club Optical and got her first contacts. It took her 2 days to learn how to get them in and out. It is still pretty slow. Her eyesight has worsened 2 times since she first got glasses. The doctor told her how to strengthen her eyes so she can still see by the time she gets to college, something the doctor from Lens Crafters never mentioned.

Wine Tour-Southern Illinois April 2009

Robb Hutchinson, Jim, My Aunt Sarah and Uncle Lynn and I went on a wine tour of Southern Illinois. Stops included, Rustle Hill, StarView Vineyard, Owl Creek (who had wine at one of the Inauguration parties for the Obama's) and Blue Sky (owned by the Rochman family).

Easter 2009

We spent Easter 2009 in Carbondale (or DeSoto), IL with my mom, sister, my nephew Ryan and my Aunt Sarah and Uncle Lynn. We did the usual visiting, going to church, Easter egg hunt and brunch.
